Once again the weather disturbed the chance of some competitive golf at the weekend. The early morning frost meant that the planned 11-hole competition had to be abandoned. However, once the frost lifted there was some very enjoyable social golf played over a 15 hole loop. Hopefully the competitions will be back in full swing shortly because the Inter-Club season is fast approaching and golfers are eager to get a little early competitive sharpness.
Club Matchplay: The entry to the club matchplay will be Opt-In rather than the qualifier system of previous years. Put you name on an envelope along with your entry fee and put it in the box before March 31st if you want to play in this years competition. The draw will take place on April 1st.
