Congratulations to the Gowran Park Ladies Revive Active Team who had a cliff hangar win over a strong Mt.Juliet Team on Saturday May 6th.With a match each ,a win at home for Ann Mullins and Catherine O Driscoll and a loss away for Kate Hennessy and Niamh Connolly ,it was all down to the wire at both venues.Gowran went 2/1 up when Nora Barron and Joan Murphy won at home on the 18th.One more match needed!!In Mt.Juliet ,Sinead Kearney and Eithne Donnelly clung on to a slender lead,only to lose the 18th.hole,to halve the match ,to go down the 19th.Meanwhile ,in Gowran,Ger Hickey and Gay Latchford were on a similar track and headed down 19also.As the Mt . Juliet ladies claimed victory on home ground ,so did our valiant ladies Ger and Gay win their match on home ground ,to give Gowran a 3/2 victory.
