Busy Week in Gowran Park…
Barton Cup:
Carlow Golf Club defeated Gowran Park by 3 matches to 2 on Sunday last 10th April. Home advantage proved too strong for the Gowran men when Carlow won out on top for the 3 matches on their home course. Having had a good run in this competition last year it was disappointing to fall at the first hurdle. Inter-club matches and team preparations continue this week with practice for the Provinical Towns on Thursday evening at 4.30 p.m. and Pierce Purcell practice on Saturday afternoon at 4.00 p.m.

We extend a warm welcome to our many new members and trust that your association with the Club will be a long and happy one. A familiarization evening is currently being organized and details will be notified to you shortly. As always we strongly encourage participation in all Club competitions and activities as it’s a great way to meet other members and contribute to the general life of the Club.
