With the juniors back in school, the ‘old hands’ showed how to do it in the open singles last week! It’s great to see Michael Comerford back playing competitive golf again, finishing just in front of Club President Matty Byrne.

Open Singles this Thursday 23rd and every Thursday throughout the summer.
There will be a fundraiser for the club on this Sunday the 26th September. The format will be a two person team event (full handicaps), €10 for members and €20 for visitors. Please support.
The final Monthly Medal of 2010 will be held on the following Sunday, October 3rd when the Golfer Of the Year will also be decided.
Club Matchplay:
Richie Lowry (10) defeated Mark Hennessy (5) in the final of the Club Matchplay competition. Well done to Richie on a fine, well deserved win.
The final of the Club Fourball Matchplay competition is to take place shortly.
