REVIVE ACTIVE :
After a great run of success, the Revive Active Ladies Fourball Team came up against a good Kilkenny Team on Sunday July 23rd..With the draw in favour of Kilkenny,the Ladies fought valiantly to win a match in Kilkenny to no avail.The two matches at home were secured by Sinead Kearney and Maura Coe,Ann Mullins and Catherine O Driscoll.Meanwhile ,although down ,all three matches were still alive after 15 holes on away ground.The Kilkenny Ladies got the upper hand as Kate Hennessy and Helen Dunne were beaten on the 17th, followed by Judy Dick and Joan Murphy on the same hole as Ger Hickey and Gay Latchford were beaten on the 16th.A great effort by a committed team and panel who have made our small tough vibrant ladies club very proud.Team manager ;Niamh Connolly.
BOYNE TROPHY:
The Boyne Trophy Fourball Team had a great win against the Royal Curragh on Wed.July 26th.in winning two matches at home and one away.At home Lady Captain Helen Dunne and Kate Hennessy won on the 15th.while Ann Mullins and Maura Coe won on the 17th.Nora Barron and Joan Murphy were defeated on the 16th.Away Ger Hickey and Gay Latchford won on the 18th.and Ann Farrell and Catherine O Driscoll were all square on the 19th.when they were called in.With victory secured Gowran Park will be meeting Mullingar in the semifinals which will be held in Edenderry on August 21st.Team Manager;Joan Murphy
