Well done to the ladies minor team and their manager Niamh Connolly who had a great win on Sunday over Mount Wolseley in Callan. Team consisted of Catherine O’ Driscoll, Orla Mc Cormack, Joan Murphy, Sally Kavanagh and Margaret Bower.
Commiserations to the intermediate team and their manager Kerri Bolger who were narrowly beaten by Tramore in Waterford golf club. Team members, lady captain Ann Farrell, vice captain Maura Coe, Ger Hickey, Orla McCormack and Helena McCormack.
The junior foursomes and their manager Sinead Kearney had a great win over Borris which was played in Carrick on Suir.
Best of luck to all the teams heading out this weekend. The challenge team are playing Waterford castle and the mixed team are playing Newbridge.
Finally, there was a great night of prize giving on Wednesday evening in Gowran park. It was lovely to welcome the Whitehead family to present the Kathleen Whitehead winter league trophy to the winning team consisting of manager Sinead Kearney and her team members Niamh Connolly, Mary McEvoy, Lucy Condon, Maura Coe and Marie Murphy.
