There was a small turn out for this week’s competition due in part to the weather but also to the recent matches which have taken up people’s time.
The winner of the competition was Eileen Tobin (18) who is playing great golf at the moment with 39 points on the day.
Well done to all the ladies who are playing on the Finn Trophy team and the Miele team. Both teams have beaten off strong opposition to progress to the next round.
The Miele team had a great win against Arklow on Tuesday last (14th June) with both away teams winning on the 17th in Arklow – the teams were Deirdre Mc Cabe & Niamh Connolly, Ann Mullins & Joan Murphy. The teams at home only needed one win and Sinead Kearney & Karen Haughney secured that on the 17th in Gowran with Nora Barron & Catherine O’Driscoll being called in. Best of luck in the next round against Courtown on the 27th of June.
